The embroidery project is part of the development project of village of Seliamedu cofinanced by the European Union.

The budget :
Budget for 2 years : from July 2008 to July 2010.

The budget covers running costs, commercialisation costs, acquisition of threads, materials and textiles, as well as the remuneration of 12 embroidery students and their manager.
No profit making is planned for the first quarter as it will be spent making of prototypes which will then be used for searching for commercial outlets.
The increase in sales should result in profit making functioning by the end of the second year. The budget necessary for the start-up is 10 080 €.

Evaluation criteria :
The indicators which allow the evaluation of the project regarding the objectives are based upon the following :

  • Number of women attending the workshop.
  • Number of new students to ensure renewal of the team.
  • Quality of work.
  • Creativity of the production (new models).
  • Balanced budget.
  • Progress in terms of commercialisation.
